The Creatrix, 2022

Thank you so much for another beautifully curated week of creativity, joy, yoga & connection. Thoughtful (often surprise) touches made us feel all the more held, relaxed & safe in the beautiful space. Not at all unexpected, having been on other retreats with Ella. The perfect opportunity to fill your cup, restore your soul and come back to yourself & the warmth of community & life’s simple pleasures. Cannot recommend enough.

The Creatrix gives birth to ideas, art and life of all kinds. She is a woman who emanates freedom from her body, mind and soul, trusting in the larger forces at work. She naturally rides her cycles of great confidence and charm through to deep introspection and quietude.

When energised, she craves expressive movement and her truth being heard; when feeling inward, she works with her hands ~ mixing herbal infusions and crafting with clay. By taking great care of yourself and truly listening, you start to know just what you desire and create in the way that serves you best.

We gathered under this autumn new moon to honour the natural cycles of life and reinvigorate The Creatrix, who lives within us all.

This retreat provided ample space to move into   f l o w   s t a t e   ‘fully immersed in a feeling of energised focus’. All found themselves here during any one (or many!) of the workshops on offer across our three days and nights together.

An incredible retreat honouring The Creatrix within. So many things to do during free time including hot tub and sauna, lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep, a silent room for quiet time and many spaces to practice, chill, rest, sit by the fire, meditate, read a book or connect with the other wonderful women on the retreat. The food was absolutely fantastic, breakfast lunch and dinner every day was so tasty and nourishing. I have found the retreat so introspective, freeing and enjoyable and cannot wait until the next one.

Ella has been a wonderful host and the most thoughtful (from finding welcome symbolical gifts on my pillow to covering me with a blanket when she realised I was getting cold in one of our relaxation sessions) and I spent all of my time giggling and feeling good in the comfort that she created. The accommodation was an amazing converted abbey making everyone feel like they were submerged into a fairytale. I had an amazing time and already looking forward to the next retreat.
